The city council has received a large grant from the federal government in order to improve transportation in the city. The city council has received two proposals. One proposal is to spend the money on upgrading the present subway and bus system. The other proposal is to create more subway lines and bus routes. There are enough funds for only one of these proposals, so the council must make a decision.The first option is to spend the money on upgrading the present subway and bus system. Why?1- In some subway we can find that trains are running so slow and they are in bad conditions.2- In subways there is a cleanliness issue. It is very dirty and smelly because people don’t care about where they throw their garbage so that causes mice.3- There should be a good system for securities for example there should be one or two police officers in each station or should be fix cameras. Also there should put some signs that are necessary for people who are ignorant of some ways.

MTA should make people more comfortable.2- Time is very important for everybody so by saving time they can make subways near houses. It can help people to save money instead taking taxi or waiting for buses. There should be direct trains to airports such as JFK, LA GUARDIA and NEWARK airport.3- When MTA start to make more lines, it can help people who are jobless. MTA might have subways
jobs.

Making Decisions

Sometimes in our life we make decisions that provide great differences in what we really want to do. We always change our mind and make another decision. Even though we have to follow the first decision and keep in mind that. Keep in mind that nobody is perfect in this world and we make decisions that affect ourselves and others. We like other to follow the rules but we don’t like it. However we manipulate our mind making decisions that we don’t follow. We are going to learn about follow the rules when we keep our mind in clear and respect others people decisions. Everyone is responsible for their own decisions.

Spring Break

During my spring break I was in home almost all day,and during the afternoon I went to work. I was so happy because my mother was in home. Thanks Mom to be with me.

United States without immigrants

All immigrants have been working for the development of the U.S. they worked hard to help their family and themselves. Furthermore they introduced many things such as food, customs and traditions. Immigrants are humans being they have feeling and they always are in problem because they don’t have a number that make the difference as legal. How 9 numbers cost more than the standard of living of many people? They sacrifice a lot of things to been in the United Stated and find the American dreaming. The immigrants make the difference if they are exclude the economic of the United States will be damage.

My Dream

I would like to graduate from college, and find a job to help my mother. I have economic problems but I am going to solve it even though I don't have the resources. I know how to play
soccer and I have the capacity to be part of a professional team. I have the hope that someone are going to see me play and reconize my ability.

Immigrants have a lot of problem when they moved to the United Stated illegally. All immigrants’ help with the development of the United Stated so they have to get the same benefits as others legal immigrants. They enter to the United Stated without anything and they work hard to help their family in their native country. Also they are treating without respect in their job. They accept this because they think that it is the only way to success in this country. Instead to discriminating them they should help them to provide better services such as health care, education and job. You need to work hard if you want to survive in this country. I would like to help immigrants to recognize their right and work with them to get legal status in this country.
